Goldie

Goldie has found it hard staying away from music from a very young age, being the nephew of Scotland’s first ever Dhol Player Jojo, who was also the percussionist in Glasgow’s very own Bombay Talkie. Goldie picked up his own dhol at the age of 13 and went onto perform at a family function to perform at events worldwide now.  Continuing to develop and progress through experience, he has been involved in a number of fusions and collaborations with many artists and musicians.

Goldie introduced the art of fusing Indian/Scottish music with the bagpipes playing Asian rhythms with the sounds of a Dhol in the early 2000s.  Now there talents are replicated throughout the world.
